TaliBon

Long ago, two equines journeyed up the river and to these lands together. A beautiful paint mare and a handsome palomino stallion, they decided to create a herd. And so they did. Picking the lush side of the river, they settled down and horses of all allianced began milling in. Lights, darks, and neutrals were forced to live together, and Tali and Bon did their best to keep everyone in perfect harmony. It was easy at first, and the mare and stallion had time to be together. Young and madly in love, it was their dream.
But as the years passed by, fights were breaking out more and more frequently. Both Bon and Tali began to worry. It was when a light foal was killed that they decided to split the herd up. Since there were only two of them, they had to make two tribes. No longer a herd, they were tribes. Tali stayed with all those who considered themselves pure of heart, innocent. Bon was left with the rest, the rough and more wild bunch. The stallion led his group across the river, knowing he probably would never see Tali again. The mare had the same thoughts in mind watching them go, but all her tribe was overjoyed.
The years passed and the river grew wider. Tali and Bon died, leaving no leader in their place. So, eventually, everyone just chose a job and stuck to it, none better than the rest, but each thinking their own was the best.
The river is too wide and the current too strong to cross now, but if you go far enough down the river, you might find a way....
